| This scholarship is made possible from the proceeds raised by the bicoastal bicycle ride of Jesse March. Jesse traveled April 27 – June 23, 2009 from San Diego, California to his home on Long Island, New York. |
| Jesse is an avid cyclist and professional chef. For over a year, Jesse had heard about his younger brother’s work, at the Geneseo Migrant Center, assisting migrant farmworkers. This, connected with Jesse’s involvement in the food industry, inspired the idea to use Jesse’s trans-American journey to raise funds for a scholarship to honor the children of the hard-working population that makes this nation the best fed on earth. |
